Back to Ali & Nino Walking Tour Index

This mansion was built in 1895 by Zeitz, a manufacturer. This building is not mentioned in "Ali & Nino" but was obviously a familiar site in this section of town.

Shamsi Asadullayev owned this building that was erected in 1896 under the direction of architect V. Edel.
The house itself is not mentioned in "Ali & Nino" but Asadullayev's sons did attend the special meeting that was held at Ali's home where the oil millionaires brooded about the disastrous political situation that they sensed was unfolding.
