Caspian
Jazz Festival
American Voices will hold its First Caspian Jazz and Blues Festival
in Baku April 12-14, 2002. The Festival is sponsored by the international
business community in Azerbaijan, the U.S. Embassy and the Ministry
of Culture. Featured artists include Amina Figarova, Rain Sultanov
and the Beribakh Choir as well as American Voices artists CoCo
York, Mike Del Ferro and guests from New Orleans, New York, Germany
and Norway. From April 8-12, 2002, workshops and Master classes
will be held throughout the city for students and professional
