Seeking Partner Master Degree (MA) Program in Social Sciences Azerbaijan University in Baku, Azerbaijan Azerbaijan University (AU) is seeking a partner, that is, a university / department to open a Master's degree program in Social Sciences (Sociology, Political Science, and Psychology) with English as the language of instruction. Partnership will be aimed at establishing a linkage program between AU and the foreign university/ department to help in the design of the MA program, curricula and faculty development, and to launch some of the first offerings of the component courses in Social Sciences. Founded in 1991 in the capital city Baku, Azerbaijan University is a private, independent and non-profit academic institution. At present, it offers undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate programs in International Relations, Law, Economics, and Languages. The languages of instruction are Azeri, Russian and English. The University has a highly qualified faculty: 105 of the 130 Faculty Members have Ph.D. degrees. Students are educated to achieve an appreciation of their own cultural heritage, to become aware of their responsibilities to society, and to prepare themselves for successful careers and future leadership roles.
