$2,500 for one monthThe Central Asia-Caucasus Institute (CACI) of the Johns Hopkins University - Nitze School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC, is offering a series of fellowships to promising emerging scholars on Central Asia and the Caucasus. The fellowships provide each scholar with $2,500 of support during a visit of up to one month as a Visiting Fellow at CACI.
Scholars will be involved in CACI's international community by applying their research interests to current issues facing the region and utilizing Washington, DC's important libraries, archives, institutions and individual experts on Central Asia and the Caucasus. Fellows will have the opportunity to present their research as Institute lecturers. Moreover, the Institute will assist the scholars' integration into the Washington and international policy communities. Applicants who have successfully defended their doctoral dissertation are requested to submit a two-page precis of the issues on which they propose to concentrate while visiting CACI.
