ng the Bolshevik Revolution by Mikhail Fedorovich Kholuev (1923-1987) and Ludmila Sergeevna Manevich (1943- ). Kholuev was born in Ostry Kamen, Lipetsk, (Central Federal District of Russia). Manevich is said to have painted the background and Kholuev painted the soldiers and Lenin. (Oil on canvas, 150 x 310 cm, 1973).
