Devon

Emin M. Akhmedov is the new Deputy Country Manager for Devon Energy Caspian Corporation. He is responsible for managing the Representative office in Azerbaijan. Devon Energy holds a 5.6 percent share in the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli Consortium (ACG).

For the past six years, Akhmedov has been filling the managerial and advisory positions in various foreign companies. He has worked as a Senior Executive Advisor to the Vice President of AIOC's Early Oil Project.

He also has served as an Executive Advisor to the Executive Secretary of the Coordinating Council, a forum consisting of the presidents of the ratified consortia operating within Azerbaijan and chaired by the President of SOCAR, Natig Aliyev.

Akhmedov has a technical background: he is a specialist in the development and exploration of oil and gas fields. He graduated with the honors frorm Azerbaijan State Institute of Oil and Chemistry (Now Azerbaijan Oil Academy).
