August 23 marks the launch of the Fourth Annual Oil Odyssey, in which a group of motorcycles and sidecars will drive along the proposed Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline route. The motorcycles and an accompanying dance and theater circus team will travel through central Azerbaijan with a symbolic stop and concert at a refugee camp, tour Tbilisi and challenge the beautiful, yet difficult terrain of southern Georgia, and then push on through eastern Turkey before arriving at the BOTASH facility at Ceyhan on the Eastern Mediterranean. The trip itself takes about two weeks, but can be split into smaller segments for those who do not have that much time. Contact: Oil Odyssey Inc., 5 Old Clyde Park Rd., Livingston, MT.
