Aker Maritime Offshore Ltd is now part
of Technip-Coflexip, a global contractor for subsea and deepwater
solutions to the offshore oil and gas industry. For the time
being, the company's official name in Azerbaijan will still be
CSO Aker Maritime Offshore Ltd. Aker Maritime, which has been
registered in Azerbaijan since July 2000, has two major contracts:
the first carried out the preset mooring system in 500 meters
of water and provided Chevron with a turnkey package that included
equipment, labor, administration and coordination support, the
second is an 18-month mooring services contract for ExxonMobil,
part of which involved the planning and supervision of the Istiglal's
move from BP's Inam field to ExxonMobil's Nakhchivan-1 well.
Technip-Coflexip is capable of jointly executing integrated projects
in the petroleum upstream sector, covering a wide range of services,
integrating umbilicals, risers and Flow lines, as well as fixed
and Floating surface Facilities. The company provides its clients
with a wide range of deepwater production facilities and leading-edge
subsea technical expertise in moorings, pipeline-riser-umbilical
