French-Azeri Dictionary

The first French-Azeri dictionary ever to be printed in Azerbaijan's new Latin alphabet was published in July 2000 under the sponsorship of Total Fina Elf. Compiler Ali Musayev, an instructor at the State Institute of Languages, worked on the volume for eight years, elaborating on definitions from a previous Azeri Cyrillic version and providing context for usage. An Azeri-French dictionary is being planned.
